Update on Dad

Dad's surgery went well on Monday, now the doc is doing a "procedure" to go back through the tubes with a camera to be sure the kidneys are "clean". One little "glitch," though. They discovered he has a hematoma around his kidney. According to the doc, though, this is nothing to worry about and it will disolve in the next few months. He also said that the kidney looks good and is working to the best of it's ability.

The doc has decided that it would be better for Dad to stay another night, so we will be here again tonight and going home tomorrow. I'm hoping we can find some friends to share dinner with tonight and get away from the hospital for a few hours.
